Terms of use

Who runs Kutsio

Kutsio (kutsio.com) is run by Sävyö, a sole trader registered in Finland, business ID 3555540-1. Write to us at hello@kutsio.com.

By using Kutsio you agree to these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy.

What Kutsio does

Kutsio lets organizers publish activities and take bookings for their sessions. Participants book without an account, with their name and email.

Kutsio is not the organizer of the activities. The agreement to take part is between the participant and the organizer, who is responsible for the activity, its content, safety and venue.

For organizers

  • You sign in with your email and a code. Keep access to that email to yourself.
  • Give correct information about your organization, activities, dates, prices and venues.
  • You receive your participants’ names and emails for your sessions. Use them only to run your activities and as the law allows.
  • Participants can cancel free bookings until the session starts. Paid bookings are cancelled on request, and you decide on refunds. If you cancel a session, everyone booked on it gets an email and a full refund of what they paid.
  • Don’t use Kutsio for anything unlawful, misleading or unsafe, or to send messages people didn’t ask for.

Payments and fees

Free activities cost nothing. To charge for participation you connect a Stripe account and accept Stripe’s terms. Participants pay you directly through Stripe; Kutsio never sees card details.

For each paid booking Kutsio keeps a fee of 5% of the amount paid, taken from the payment. Stripe’s own fees are also paid by you. When you refund a participant, the refund comes from your Stripe balance and Kutsio’s fee is not returned.

For participants

  • When you choose dates, your spaces are held for 10 minutes while you confirm your email with a code. For a paid booking you then have 30 minutes to pay.
  • The cancellation terms are shown before you book. Free bookings can be cancelled until the session starts. For paid bookings you can request a cancellation, and the organizer decides on a refund.
  • Your booking email has a personal link to your booking. Anyone with the link can open it, so don’t share it.
  • If your booking page doesn’t answer a question about your booking, write to us.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Kutsio available and correct, but we can’t promise it will always work without interruption. We may change or stop parts of the service, and we’ll tell organizers about important changes in advance where we can.

To the extent the law allows, Kutsio is not liable for indirect losses or for the activities organizers run. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Ending use

You can stop using Kutsio at any time. To delete your organizer account, write to us. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Law and changes

These terms follow Finnish law. If you are a consumer, you can also take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).

When we change these terms, we update the date above. We tell organizers about significant changes by email.
